Eynsham residents are invited to contribute, in whatever way they are able, to a Christmas toy run, which is being organised by a local resident.
Brand new, sealed gifts for children aged from newborn to 17 years are being collected from Monday 16 November to Monday 14 December at Kingsley Café on the A40.
These gifts will be taken to the Oxford Children’s Hospital (John Radcliffe Hospital) and the Oxfordshire Toy Bank (South Moreton) on Wednesday 16 December from 11.30am.
It’s important that gifts are not second hand or homemade, and they shouldn’t be gift-wrapped. Suggestions for suitable gifts include pyjamas (not Christmas themed), chocolate selection boxes, craft kits, card games and puzzle books. Gift cards are also welcome, but no cash can be accepted.
