Eynsham Parish Council has learnt that planning approval was granted for Oxfordshire County Council’s latest upgrade to the A40 on 30 June. This will allow work to start between Eynsham Park & Ride and Wolvercote in the coming months.
The project will include creating new bus lanes and improving walking and cycling routes. There will also be upgraded junctions and a new connection to the Park & Ride from the A40.
The team will be starting preparatory work in the coming weeks, including site clearance in certain locations. Residents should be aware that there may be some disruption to travel in the area.
