Residents may be interested in reviewing and sharing feedback on Oxfordshire County Council’s draft plans for improving bus services over the next 15 years.
OxBUS 2040, which has been developed based on feedback from bus users, is now available online to review. There is a survey that can be completed to share views on various aspects of the plan, such as proposals relating to the network, customer experiencing, ticketing and fares.
A number of in-person, drop-in events have been scheduled to provide an opportunity to find out more and get any questions answered. The closest venue to Eynsham is the Witney Corn Exchange, on Tuesday 3 November from 10am - 2pm and then from 3pm - 7pm.
Alternative venues are:
-
Oxford Cowley (Templars Square Shopping Centre) on Wednesday 4 November 1pm - 4pm (as part of the Cowley Community Roadshow)
-
Oxford Westgate (library) on Friday 6 November 10am - 5pm
-
Banbury (Town Hall) on Monday 9 November from 10am - 2pm and then 3pm - 7pm
-
Didcot (Cornerstone Arts Centre) on Friday 13 November from 10am - 2pm and then 3pm - 7pm
Residents who would prefer to share their comments on the plans by email can do so via [email protected].
Once the consultation is complete, all comments will be reviewed and a final plan will be developed, to be shared with the County Council’s Cabinet for approval in early 2027.
