Open Spaces Committee

Formerly the Amenities and Estates Committee, the Open Spaces committee meets monthly (every second tuesday) to maintain and develop the following:-

• Fishponds
• Play Areas (Oxford Road Play Area & Skate Park, Dovehouse Close Play Area and Old Witney Road Play Area.
• Footpaths (Wharf Stream Way and oversees Public Rights of Way under the jurisdiction of Oxfordshire County Council).
• Street furniture.
• Trees/hedges in its ownership.
• Highways grass verges/roundabouts (under the jurisdiction of the Parish Council).
• Chil Brook (as riparian owner where it runs through Council owned land).
• Public open spaces (including North and South Oxford Road Playing Fields boundaries).
