Each Financial Year, Eynsham Parish Council has a fund set aside to provide grant aid to local organisations, projects or charities that support our community.
The amount in the fund is decided when setting our Budget for the forthcoming Financial Year.
Anyone wishing to apply for a grant should read the policy details and eligibility criteria, then complete an application form.
Usually, we open for applications in December, closing at the end of January, to award grants before the conclusion of the Financial Year at the end of March.
Applications are reviewed and discussed by our Councillors, before applicants are informed of the decision.
As we have limited funds available, we can't always help everyone who applies. We make our decisions based on which applicants are contributing in some way to the priority areas we have identified in our Strategic Plan.
Who do we help?
In the past few years we have helped a range of local organisations, charities and groups. This included Eynsham Primary School PTA, WRFM, Eynsham Online, First and Last Mile, Oxfordshire Play Association's Play & Activity Day in Eynsham, Eynsham Museum and Heritage Centre, the Nature Recovery Network, Witney Baby Bank and Eynsham Village Show.
