Oxfordshire County Council has confirmed the new timeline for the A40 project delivery, including the Eynsham Park & Ride.
Following planning permission being granted in June, the developer Balfour Beatty conducted a review of the construction programme with the County Council.
Residents will be aware that clearance work has already started around Eynsham. This preparatory activity will continue for the next few months, with main construction to start in spring 2027. The Park & Ride is expected to open in summer 2028, with the remainder of the A40 project to be completed by summer 2029.
