Footpath closure from April 24 Mar 2026 Walker be warned of a local footpath closure

Walkers should note that a section of one of our local footpaths will be closed from 1 April for four months. 

 

The footpath that connects the Talbot Inn (on B4044) to the Wharf Stream Way will be closed completely from 1 April to allow for Siemens Heathineers to complete pressure testing works at their facility. 

 

This work is expected to be completed by 31 July, when the footpath will re-open. 

 

Please download the map below to see the footpath, alongside the Siemens facility, to be closed. We have been assured that signs will clearly indicate the closure at both ends of the path to inform walkers.
