Eynsham Parish Council has been contacted by a researcher from the University of Oxford who is seeking our community’s views on the electric car (EV) club that we have available in the village. We’d invite residents to take a moment to share opinions and help support this research project.
Dr Hannah Budnitz is from the Transport Studies Unit at the University of Oxford and is leading a research project called SEMiTaSS (Shared Electric Mobility in Towns and Smaller Settlements).
The purpose of the research is to understand how EV car clubs can be successful and sustainable in rural towns and villages. It’s hoped that the project will ultimately help towns and villages create more sustainable transport services that are accessible for residents. The ultimate intention is to try and reduce car ownership, as well as the negative environmental impact of car use.
Residents are encouraged to complete a short survey and share views on our EV car sharing scheme here: https://forms.office.com/e/j6j4h8z1xU Any issues accessing the form – or any questions on this project – can be directed to Dr Budnitz via hannah.budnitz@ouce.ox.ac.uk.
