Eynsham Parish Council has been advised that temporary lights will be installed on the A40 near the Eynsham Park & Ride site from July for two months to facilitate work in the area.
The temporary lights will only be in operation from 8pm until 6am each night for a two month period. This will likely cause some traffic delays and if drivers can avoid this stretch, it is advisable. There will also be sections of the footpath closed to pedestrians and cyclists at certain times.
These measures are to facilitate site clearance work along a 550m stretch of the A40 at Cassington Junction (north and south sides). There will also be work happening in the southern layby opposite the Park & Ride site.
