Overnight clearance may be noisy 13 Aug 2026 Activity at Cassington Junction for A40 project

Eynsham Parish Council has been informed of some overnight vegetation clearance work at Cassington Junction which may cause some disruption to residents. 

 

This work will take place on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 August, from 8pm until 5am. The activities to be carried out will include tree cutting and stump grinding, as well as clearing and removing vegetation.

 

Some of these activities can be noisy. The team has informed us that they will aim to complete the loudest activity (using the chainsaw and stump grinding) before 11pm to minimise the disturbance to nearby residents.

 

There will no road closures for this activity, although there will be some temporary lights at the junction during the period of overnight work only.
