Oxfordshire County Council is currently consulting on proposed changes to the Fire and Rescue Services. As one of the changes could be closing Eynsham’s fire station, we encourage residents to review the documents and submit their feedback.
These changes are being proposed by the County Council as a means of improving the availability of fire engines and crews across the county. Currently, there is inconsistency and a risk of delays in crews and vehicles attending an incident.
A 12-week public consultation is now open, with feedback on the proposed changes accepted until 20 January. A designated webpage has all the details about the consultation, the various documents to review and a link for sharing feedback.
