Eynsham Parish Council has been informed of various local road closures which may cause some traffic disruption in January 2026.
There will be a nightly closure (8pm until 6am) from 27 January up to and including 30 January on a section of the A4095 near North Leigh, on Wilcote Road in North Leigh and Woodstock Road in Witney. The closures are to allow for pre-surfacing dressing works to be completed.
While these closures are not in Eynsham, they may impact traffic on the A40. Please open the maps below to see the road sections to be closed and the suggested diversion routes. Limited access will be available to frontages and emergency vehicles only.
Additionally, a section of the A4095 near Long Hanborough will be closed over night (8pm-6am) on 30-31 January for pre-surface dressing works. The diversion route takes drivers around via the A40.
