Residents who have been down to the Abbey Fishponds may spot something new. The Parish Council has invested in a new dipping platform over the water and it has now been installed.
This platform replaces the older, dilapidated one with something sturdier and safer. Reaching out over the water, the platform is an ideal place for pond-dipping, watching wildlife or simply soaking up the glorious surroundings.
We've got a little more work to do around the edges of the platform, but it is safe for use. We hope residents enjoy it!
