Eynsham Allotments Association has launched a crowdfund campaign to help raise money for some key improvements they have planned for the site. The Association is hoping businesses and members of the community may be able to contribute.
A crowdfunding campaign will run until 31 December, with all money raised being used to build a composting toilet and an accessible footpath, creating a ‘clearing classroom’ for outdoor events and enhancing the biodiversity of the site generally. There are also plans for a communal orchard. (More details are available in the poster, which can be downloaded below).
Plot-holders and their families are contributing what they can and the Allotments Association is hoping the wider community may also be interested in supporting the work that will improve the local woodland for all. The work is planned to take place during Winter and Spring, with volunteers needed to help preparing the ground. Contact deb@growing-concern.co.uk to register your interest or for more details on the project.
