Residents may be aware that we previously supported some of the team from Oxfordshire County Council as they investigated ways in which Eynsham could be improved to encourage more cycling and walking [read more here].
This process was part of the development of a new Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) for Eynsham and the local area. This Plan has now been drafted and is open for public consultation.
The consultation period will run until 29 October, with all feedback being used to shape the final version of the LCWIP. The Parish Council will be reviewing the documents and submitting a response.
Residents may also like to review the draft Plan and share thoughts with the team. All the documents and a link to the survey are available on the County Council website.
Anyone unable to access the documents online can drop into the Village Hall, where we have copies in the Parish Council office.
Residents can also submit their comments in writing by sending them to FREEPOST Oxfordshire County Council (it's free - no stamp required). Remember to write in the corner of the envelope 'Eynsham LCWIP' so the right team receives it.
