Eynsham Parish Council is pleased to confirm that the renovation works currently ongoing at Old Witney Road play area are almost complete and we will be able to re-open the area on Saturday 14 October.
During the period of closure, we replaced some of the old equipment with exciting new pieces, some of which were selected by young residents at Eynsham Play & Activity Day and by Eynsham Primary School student councillors and children. We would like to invite everyone to join us for the first look at – and the first play on – the finished product at our grand re-opening event.
Old Witney Road play area will be open from 10am and we have arranged for an ice cream van to come along, with all children to be given a free ice cream. The event will run until 12pm and Councillors and Parish Council staff members will be in attendance to ‘introduce’ the new equipment and answer any questions you may have.
We appreciate the patience residents have shown during this period of renovation and are confident that the new equipment will provide plenty of pleasure and be fit for purpose for many years to come.
