Eynsham Parish Council has a vacancy for a part-time Responsible Financial Officer. Do you have the qualifications, time and interest to join us?
This is a key financial and administrative management position with the Parish Council and the individual would work alongside the Clerk, three other employees and the full Council. The RFO is responsible for managing the Council’s budget and will be handling payroll, human resources, property hire and general financial management.
Ideally, a RFO needs strong organisational and inter-personal skills, with experience in financial/accounting management. An applicant would need to be IT-proficient (in particular Microsoft Office and payroll applications) and ideally be Rialtas Omega trained.
The RFO position is part-time at 10 hours per week. The work can be completed from home or at the office, if preferred. There is a requirement to attend occasional evening meetings in Eynsham too.
