New format Annual Parish Meeting 20 Apr 2022 The 2022 meeting is coming soon and provides a less formal way to engage with the parish.

Are you free on the evening of Tuesday 26 April? Join us at the Village Hall for what will be an Annual Parish Meeting with a difference – and free refreshments.

We’ve decided to change the format of this annual meeting for 2022 to make the event more accessible and more interesting. We hope this will encourage more residents to attend, as well as give our local groups and organisations a greater opportunity to showcase their successes and outline their future plans.

Starting at 7.30pm, we will run a brief formal meeting before inviting attendees to roam the room, reviewing displays that each organisation or group will have prepared while enjoying a glass of wine. Representatives will be on hand to chat, answer any questions and explain more about the great work they do in our parish.

Councillors will also be available to talk about any issues you might have or answer questions about the ongoing activities and projects. Feel free to ask them why they joined the Parish Council and perhaps they can tempt you to join us too? We have a number of vacancies for new councillors and welcome applications at any time during the year.

If you have any questions about the event, please contact us via the website. We sincerely hope many of you will be able to join us and would welcome your feedback after the evening on whether the ‘new’ format worked better for you.
