Anti-social behaviour App 28 Sep 2021 Issues concerning Cottsway residents can now be reported direct by smartphone

Cottsway, West Oxfordshire’s largest housing association, has launched a new app that will allow people to report anti-social behaviour (ASB) at or concerning any of their houses – of which there are a number in Eynsham – direct from their smartphones.

The Reportable app can now be used to log any ASB issues relating to a Cottsway customer, as well as anyone living with them or visiting them. The app also has a facility for sending photos of incidents like fly tipping.

The idea emerged from a wider review by the housing association’s customer Scrutiny Group to tackle the issue. Cottsway is also introducing a new online toolkit, adding details on ASB into a customer’s introductory pack and raising awareness via their social channels. It is hoped these new measures will reduce incidences of ASB and protect residents across the more than 5,100 homes within West Oxfordshire and neighbouring counties.

The app is easy to use and quick to download via the Reportable website. It is run by the same company behind the Noise App, which Cottsway also uses to for noise disturbance reports. Anyone interested in getting the app should visit the site and download the version most suitable to their smartphone. Once an account is created – with Cottsway Housing Association selected as the service provider – issues can be reported.
