How could Eynsham be improved? 10 May 2023 The District Council is seeking local opinions to help target spending

Eynsham Parish Council has been contacted by West Oxfordshire District Council (WODC) to find out what local residents and businesses would like to see improved in the area, via a new online survey.

The District Council has received £1m to spend over three years from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), which is part of the Government’s Levelling Up agenda. It is intended that the money should be invested in helping local areas to build pride in place and increase life chances of those living and working there.

To help direct their spending, WODC is surveying those who live and work in a number of local towns such as Carterton and Witney. Due to its size, Eynsham has been included despite being a village. We’d encourage all those who live and work here to share their thoughts on how the village could be improved and where targeted spending could make a difference to quality of life.

You may also like to comment on other local areas that you visit regularly or travel to for work. All surveys can be found on the WODC website and will take approximately five minutes to complete. The closing date for submitting opinions is 31 May 2023.

WODC has commissioned Heartflood Ltd to carry out this study independently, so all questions or queries about the project should be directed to Chris Gregory via either chris@heartflood.co.uk or 07854 027080.
