Many of our residents will have been impacted by the on-going, major development works happening at Oxford Station and the closure of the Botley Road.
Network Rail have organised a community drop-in event to update interested parties on the progress that has been achieved at the station so far. There will also be news about what is planned for the summer too, with members of the project management team in attendance to answer any questions.
This event will take place in West Oxford Community Centre on Tuesday 4 July from 4pm-6pm. There is no need to register or book – simple turn up if you’d like to hear more.
For anyone who uses the buses into Oxford but has mobility issues, you may be interested in the free accessible bus service that is being provided to connect the Botley Road to Jericho, Summertown and the Westgate Centre. This runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at certain times between 10am and 1pm. More details are available by emailing oxfordphase2@networkrail.co.uk. Wheelchair space on one of these services can be booked on 01865 768 329.
