Eynsham Parish Council is aware of various incidences of antisocial behaviour in the village recently.
Antisocial behaviour refers to actions that are likely to cause harm or distress. This includes noise nuisance (excessively loud motorbikes driven at night), vandalism (such as graffiti), and environmental damage. It would also include dogs not being properly or considerately controlled by their owners, making green spaces unsafe for other users.
We’d like to remind all residents of the need to report anything they see to Thames Valley Police. However minor you may consider the incident, making a report will help our local police officers understand what is happening across our area and when.
Reports can be made via the Thames Valley police website here: Report | Thames Valley Police Alternatively, contact the police by calling 101 or – and only if it is an emergency – on 999 if the situation is life-threatening.
If residents see damage to any Parish Council buildings or green spaces, these can also be reported to us via email (epc.comms@eynsham-pc.gov.uk). If the damage is on property that is the responsibility of West Oxfordshire District Council, please report the issue to them also. Visit this website for options: Report it - West Oxfordshire District Council
Any schools, businesses or agencies who would like a police officer to deliver a talk or share some advice can contact our policing team via eynhsamNHPT2@thamesvalley.police.uk.
