Eynsham Parish Council would like to share the latest progress report we have received about the state of the repair works that are ongoing in Conduit Lane.
Thanks to a week of more stable temperatures and little rain, the new wall has been built up at a consistent rate. Half of the wall is now at head-height, with 40% at knee-height and the remaining 10% still at the footings.
It is hoped that this level of productivity will continue over the coming week to ensure the wall will soon be complete. Then, once final repairs and changes are complete, the footpath can be re-opened safely.
We recognise the frustration that many residents continue to feel during this lengthy closure of a convenient footpath. We will continue to provide regular updates as the repair process continues towards completion.
