If you’re passionate about Eynsham and what to find out more about past and future activities in the parish – and meet some great people – make sure you join us on Tuesday 7 March.
From 7.30pm at the Village Hall, we will be holding the Annual Parish Meeting 2023. This will involve a brief Parish Council update followed by an informal networking session, with refreshments.
The aim is to allow our residents to find out more information from many of our fantastic local organisations and speak to some of their representatives, who will have displays on the night. It will also provide an opportunity to chat with any Councillors directly, whether to raise issues or ask questions, or simply get to know the people who represent your community.
This new, more informal approach to the Annual Parish Meeting debuted last year and proved to be very successful with the community. Eynsham Parish Council has been thrilled to discover many of our local groups were eager to sign up for the 2023 to share their news and activities in displays, having enjoyed the 2022 event and recognised it’s value.
Our current list of confirmed group attendees include Eynsham Museum & Heritage Centre, Bartholomew Players and Eynsham Good Neighbour Network. Key local services such as Bartholomew School and Thames Valley Police are also sending representatives, and we will have updates from some of the groups who received Parish Council grants last year, such as Eynsham Army Cadets, to find out how the money has helped them.
Many more organisations continue to tell us they are attending and we are excited about what promises to be a lively, interesting ‘cross-section’ of the vibrant Eynsham community we all enjoy. Ultimately, it should be a jolly evening out and may prove beneficial for you all.
There is no need to book to confirm your attendance for Tuesday 7 March – just join us! The hall will be accessible from 7.15pm to start the meeting promptly at 7.30pm. If you have any questions about the event, feel free to contact us on epc.comms@eynsham-pc.gov.uk.
