Our new services are now just one month away - linking Eynsham with Long Hanborough and Standlake every two hours Monday – Friday from 4 January.
We are still recruiting drivers to our strong volunteer team.
You just need a D1 driving licence (included automatically before 1997). Full training will be given. Shifts can be from about one to five hours long, on a regular or occasional basis.
Please call 0758 492 7050 and ask for David Miles or email [email protected]
Dateline 20/10/2021: Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, there will be a short delay in the launch of the new 411 and 418 services, due to the lengthy and rigorous legal process taking a little longer than hoped for.
Thank you, future FLM bus users, for your patience! The delay will be disappointing for some but we are working very hard to make sure that the service is worth the wait.
Meanwhile, we are happy to report that we have found our first minibus and will shortly be selecting its name from the entries submitted in our recent ‘Name the Bus’ competition. Watch this space!
Dateline 22/09/2021: The First and Last Mile community bus is gearing up to start this autumn, with timings carefully judged to support the school / work run. And more volunteering opportunities than ever!

DATELINE 29/07/2021: A community bus service from Standlake to Hanborough railway station is coming shortly, via Bablock Hythe, Northmoor, Stanton Harcourt, Eynsham and Freeland. Think student travel to and from Bartholomew School, access to Eynsham shops and services from surrounding villages, reduced demand on Back Lane car park…
Could you help make it happen as a volunteer driver for the odd half day, or support its activities as treasurer?
