There are just three weeks left to apply for a grant from Eynsham Parish Council, of which a number are available of differing amounts, depending on need.
Until 1 November, voluntary groups and organisations can apply for financial aid in the form of a grant from the Parish Council to help fund a specific project or assist with the general running costs of the organisation.
Examples of the successful applicants from last year include Eynsham Community Primary School PTA – who used the funds to buy a new cover for the school pool – and the Croquet Club, which put the money towards the purchase of a new mower to tend their grounds. The Council also gave a grant to support the running of the First and Last Mile bus services. You can read more about these organisations and the other successful applicants on our news pages.
After the application deadline on 1 November, the Parish Councill will review all applicants and divide the available fund between those groups and organisations whose work is deemed to be able to benefit as much of the community as possible.
Successful applicants will be informed of the Council’s decision in February of 2023 and the grants will be paid out before the end of April.
If you think that your organisation or group could benefit, take a look and the application form and the details of the Grant Aid policy to verify your eligibility and make your application. If you have any questions about the Grant Aid policy or would like a Word version of the document, please contact our Clerk on epc.clerk@eynsham-pc.gov.uk.
Good luck to all who apply! Awarding grants and supporting some of the many fantastic local organisations in Eynsham is one of our Councillors favourite parts of ‘the job’. We look forward to learning about your projects and helping your endeavours via financial support in 2023.
