Oxfordshire County Council has an online directory, Live Well Oxfordshire, intended to help all residents to ‘live well’ in the county.
The directory is not just for those in financial need. Live Well Oxfordshire also provides information on all manner of services, directing users towards support on everything from seeking a care home to finding local activities to stay fit and well.
The site is easy to navigate, with various categories depending on the service or support needed. There is also a search function to allow users to seek help or locate events in their area.
Additionally, there is more general, useful information, such as which public consultations are currently open, advice for avoiding scams and the details of local events or activities. There is also a facility for locating your closest GP surgery and information from the NHS on staying well.
