When did you join Eynsham Parish Council?
I started as the new Responsible Financial Officer in October 2025.
Do you live in Eynsham?
I live in Chilton, Oxfordshire with my partner and my 3 children.
What have been your first impressions of Eynsham – the village but also the community?
The community spirit is fantastic. It’s refreshing to see so many Councillors who are so invested in making Eynsham a lovely place.
Have you always worked in local governance organisations?
I previously worked as a clerk for a small parish council for a couple of years before leaving to go back to college. I completed my studies in finance then looked for another role for a parish.
Why did you want this job?
I love working for a parish council as I love to see people being so passionate about the place they live in.
What can be the biggest challenge in the RFO role?
Trying to source enough money for all the projects the councillors would love to do to improve the area.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I enjoy taking my children out – we might go to the park, soft play, swimming – and visiting my parents.
