West Oxfordshire District Council has launched a public consultation to find out what residents feel should be a priority for the Budget next year. Our Eynsham residents may like to share their views.
Ahead of discussions and decisions on the Budget for the Financial Year 2026-2027 – which starts in April 2026 – the views of district residents are being sought until 19 December. Around 10% of our council tax goes to the District Council to deliver various services, accounting for around 40% of their total Budget.
Over 50 local services are provided by the District Council, including waste collection, housing support and leisure, while other services – such as education, road maintenance and adult social care – are provided by the County Council.
Residents can ensure their views on where spending should be directed are considered by completing a short online survey here: Project: West Oxfordshire District Council budget consul... | West Oxfordshire District Council This webpage also contains more details about the Budget and the services it will need to fund.
For those unable to access the online survey, papers copies are available from the District Council Offices in Welch Way and Woodgreen. A copy can also be downloaded and printed via the website.
