Health Research Showcase 20 May 2025 Learn more about the groundbreaking research happening in Oxford

Oxford-based researchers and clinicians will be hosting their annual Health Research Showcase on 29 May in the Westgate Centre for anyone in the community interested in learning more about what they do.

The showcase, which runs from 10am until 3.30pm, will provide information about the latest research and the impact it’s had on the treatment of health conditions such as dementia, endometriosis and mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression.

There will be a range of interactive stalls, with opportunities to speak with researchers and try out diagnostic equipment or take part in educational games. There will also be information about future research that attendees can sign up to be involved with.

The Health Research Showcase is jointly organised by the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) and NIHR Oxford Health BRC, bringing together the research expertise of the University of Oxford and the clinical skills of staff at Oxford’s two NHS Trusts. The aim is to support research and innovation to improve physical and mental healthcare for us all.
