Eynsham Parish Council has received a grant from FCC Communities Foundation to cover the cost of installing low-energy lighting in Eynsham Village Hall.
We were delighted to be awarded a grant of £16,656 by FCC, following our application. The grant will enable us to upgrade the lighting at the village hall, improving the quality in line with modern standards.
This upgrade will also help reduce our electricity costs and make the space more energy-efficient. We hope to start the work soon. We will keep residents informed via our website.
Established in 1997, the FCC Communities Foundation is a not-for-profit business that awards grants to community projects through the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF). The LCF is a tax credit scheme designed to compensate for the negative impact of landfill sites on surrounding communities.
