The Parish Council would like to make residents aware of a road closure that may impact their journeys during March.
We’ve been advised that a section of Burleigh Road in Cassington will be closed overnight from 20 March up to and including 24 March. The closure will be in place from 10pm until 6am each night to allow essential repairs to be carried out to the brick work and stonework on the railway bridge.
The section to be closed is marked on the map that can be downloaded below. The diversion route will take drivers via the A40 and The Green. Access to properties that lie within the closed section of Burleigh Road will be maintained throughout the closure.
While this closure doesn’t fall within Eynsham parish boundaries, it’s close enough to the village too create a potential issue for drivers. Please be aware of the diversion route and plan your journey accordingly.
