Oxfordshire County Council is currently consulting on potential changes to the way in which it runs our household waste recycling centre (HWRCs) network and waste disposal services in the county. Residents are invited to review the proposals and share their views by 11 August.
The proposed changes are designed to modernise and improve the efficiency of the service. The consultation is asking about residents’ use of the HWRCs, their availability and what is accepted (or not) at the HWRCs. Suggestions for improving re-use and recycling services at the HWRCs are also welcome, such as the sale of second-hand goods received at the centres.
Residents can take part by completing a survey online, which should take between 15 and 30 minutes. The survey and more details are available on this webpage: Oxfordshire's household waste recycling centre (HWRC) consultation | Let's Talk Oxfordshire
The survey will close at midnight on 11 August, with responses being reviewed by the County Council team before changes to the network are agreed.
To receive the survey and consultation details in an alternative format, such as Easy Read, large text, audio, Braille or a community language, please contact the team via consultations@oxfordshire.gov.uk or 01865 792422.
