Eynsham Parish Council has been advised that a section of the Thames Path has been closed from today (20 February) to allow for critical repair work.
The footpath along the river from Eynsham lock will be closed at Swinford Bridge until 12 September while repairs are carried out to the structure of Swinford Bridge.
Walkers will not be able to pass this closure. There is a suggested diversion route for walkers on the footpath, which can be viewed on the map below.
