Oxfordshire County Council is proposing to install traffic calming on Old Witney Road in Eynsham. This is in response to the new residential development in the area, in order to help improve road safety.
Eynsham Parish Council initially ran an informal consultation on the plans with residents of Old Witney Road. This was completed in December 2023. With the majority of residents supporting the plans, the project was transferred to the County Council who is responsible for making changes of this nature.
The County Council is now (January 2024) running a formal consultation on the plans and inviting comments and responses from any interested parties.
