About thirty people, young and old, visited the Peace Oak today to construct bird boxes. The event, in conjunction with the Nature Recovery Project saw about ten boxes go up around the site and a number taken away for distribution around the village.
Some stag beetle pupae were also rehoused along with the remnants of their former home.
