Members Events

We plan to have three members events each year, in addition to an Open day, with a mixture of food, drink, games, singing, fire and friendship.

We normally have regular work parties which will be advertised here when scheduled. They take place every 1st Saturday in a month and to be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. These have been on hold for a while but will be restarting on the 11th July and resuming the normal pattern from the 1st August.

We recognise that Covid-19 is still a concern and will ensure that "social distancing" is maintained at these events.

We will continue to leave more detailed lists of jobs to be done for those who feel the need to get out of their houses and work (or simply enjoy the space). If you do go to the Peace Oak please abide by Govt. guidelines as to "social distancing" and take care.

Jobs that always need doing,

a) Weeding the beach hedge on the boundary with Cobbetts Close.

b) Raking up the mowings if field has recently been mowed. This is part of our long term project to reduce the fertility of the grass areas to support more wild flowers.

c) Weeding the fruitful hedge and mulching with the rakings.
