The Parish Council has just been informed that a section of Cassington Road in Yarnton will be closed from 16-20 October inclusive to allow for emergency repair works to be completed.
The section of Cassington Road to be closed is indicated on the map that can be downloaded below. This also indicates the diversion route, which takes drivers via Yarnton Road, Burleigh Road, Cassington Road, A4095 and A44 – and vice versa.
Limited access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be possible as the works progress. Worton Park Farm Shop and Café will remain open as usual.
We will keep residents updated if we hear any further information about this necessary work, which should result in final repairs being completed and in situ traffic lights being removed.
