Check out the Over to You magazine!
We are delighted to announce a new-look, 8-page publication, to appear every month from Saturday 1 August for a 12-month trial period. As ever, it will be delivered to 2,000 homes and counting by a team of volunteers - drawing on the energies of the local WhatsApp groups, like our news sheets in early April.
The Covid-19 effect
Our regular delivery team - many of them retired and in a high-risk category - effectively came to a standstill in March. We are still in their debt for years of dedicated support and have encouraged those who can to join a WhatsApp group.
Concerns that the virus might spread through paper put all our print on hold in early April. However, we are heartened by medical advice that any risk is eliminated in 72 hours. We’d be grateful if readers could pass on this message, so anyone who is still wary can put a note on their door.
Advertising and Sponsorship
You will be supporting a valued, local institution that reaches every corner of the village. You'll find rates and copy deadlines in the download below. For bookings and enquiries please contact Emma Roebuck: call 07455 529887, email [email protected] or use our online form.
Eynsham News is run on a not-for-profit basis by a small team of volunteers. Our income is solely from our great advertisers and sponsors. Our only costs are for printing (£3984 / year), design (£872 / year) and software (£200 / year). Our accounts are available for anyone to see, so do get in touch if you would like to see them: email our Treasurer Sandy Hellig or use our online form.
Send in your stories!
The Eynsham News is delivered free to every home in the parish so it’s a great way to share your recent triumphs, current concerns and future plans.
Our pages are open to all community groups and we welcome photos too. Please contact Sarah with your recreation stories and Joan with your planning / campaigning news. Our first copy deadline is Wednesday 15 July... we look forward to hearing from you :-)
