Many people don’t fully understand what local councils do, nor what being a local councillor involves. Unfortunately, this can dissuade passionate and enthusiastic people from considering becoming a councillor and helping to make a positive difference in their community.
If you have ever thought about joining the Parish Council but aren’t clear what it might involve, this free webinar will provide a great overview of the role, the process and the experience. A panel of speakers – all local councillors themselves – will be talking about their own journey into local governance and what they enjoy about the process. They will also provide some practical advice on how to make it happen for yourself.
