This year Santa will be attending the Eynsham Lights Event on Friday 7 December.
He will be returning from 18:00 - 20:00 during weeks commencing Monday 10 December and Monday 17 December to visit the streets of Eynsham and nearby villages, escorted by members of the Rotary Club of Eynsham and Friends of Rotary.
Please note that routes may have to be changed at short notice due to possible weather and technical issues, but the intention is to cover the areas as follows:
Monday 10 December - Eynsham East - Hazeldene estate, Dovehouse Close estate, Wytham View, Marlborough Place and Greens Road .
Tuesday 11 December - Eynsham West - Merton Court, Merton Close, Blankstone Grove, Witney Road, Clover Place, Thornbury Road, Willows Edge, Bartholomew Close, Witney Road (East layby), Old Witney Road, Fruitlands.
Wednesday 12 December - Stanton Harcourt - Village Hall, Bury Mead Close, Black Ditch, Main Road, The Green, Harcourt Arms - Sutton - New Road, Sutton Lane.
Thursday 13 December - Freeland - top of Pigeon House Lane, Blenheim Lane, Wroslyn Road to Broad Marsh Lane, Hurst Lane. Parklands (by School). Oakland Close, Wroslyn Road to Church View, Walkers Close,Yeoman’s pub & Village Hall.
Monday December 17 - Eynsham Central - Acre End Street, Mill Street, Millmoor Crescent, Beech Road, Hawthorn Road and Close, Queen Street, Queen’s Close, Orchard Close, Queens Pub, Thames Street, The Red Lion, The Sportsman, Swan Street and the Sports and Social Club.
Tuesday December 18 - Cassington Event - static location on the village green
Wednesday December 19 - Long Hanborough (South) and Church Hanborough - Roosvelt Road, Pinsley Road, Churchill Way, Beckets Close and Glyme Way, Main Road by church. Church Road and Hand and Shears in Church Hanborough.
