Local architects Stanhope Wilkinson Associates (SWA) have been commissioned to undertake the new building, after negotiations going back more than 20 years, as reported in the Eynsham Echo of February 1998. The early sketch plan (below) was restricted by a very tight site area (green) owned by the Parish Council and a very awkward site (blue) belonging to the Scouts. A land swap agreed between the Parish Council and the Scouts has enabled each to have much better areas of land.

The Parish Council also manages the Bartholomew Room and the Sports Pavilion.
