Residents may have spotted that Back Lane is closed again. The closure is in place to allow Thames Water to repair a burst pipe and is expected to be in place until 31 August.
This is the latest repair of a pipe that continues to collapse. Residents may recall that the road was closed multiple times in summer 2024 for repairs. You can read our updates from this time on the Thames Water news page.
The Village Hall can still be accessed on foot or by bike. Drivers should come into Back Lane via Spareacre Lane to access the Village Hall, or via Clover Place to access Back Lane car park. Please see the map below to identify where the closure is and the diversion route.
