Eynsham Parish Council has been informed by SGN, the operator of our area's gas supply network, that they will be working in Oxford Road over the coming weeks. This work will cause some disruption to local traffic.
From 28 July, SGN operatives will be replacing a metal gas pipe in Oxford Road in a project that is likely to take six weeks.
During the period of work, multi-way traffic lights will be installed between Oxford Road and Cumnor Road, Farmoor to the side of Milestone, Oxford Road, Farmoor.
SGN has apologised for the inconvenience this will cause and the likely negative impact on traffic in the area. It's advisable to allow a little extra time for your journey and check whether any bus stops or routes will be diverted.
