The Parish Council is pleased to announce that from 1 February 2025 our Grant Aid scheme will be open for applications. Can we help your organisation with some financial support this year?
Our Grand Aid scheme is designed to provide the finacial support that local organisations and/or groups need to deliver an activity or project that will enhance the lives and wellbeing of our community.
Ideally the applicant group will be based in Eynsham and demonstrate they are meeting a clear need in our parish. Read all the eligibility criteria in this document.
We’ve been able to support a whole range of organisations and charities over the years. For example, a grant awarded to the Eynsham Primary School PTA helped them buy a new cover for the swimming pool (read more on this here), just in time for the summer swimming season.
Helen Goldberg, chair of the PTA at the time, told us how “a pool cover is vital to ensure the pool is safe, clean and free from contamination each day to enable swimming lessons. Without a cover we couldn’t open the pool.”
We were also able to help a charity that was set up by working mum Rosa Bolger in the early days of the pandemic (April 2020). Witney Baby Bank provides essential baby items and menstrual products free of charge to local families and is reliant on volunteer support and grants such as ours. You can read more about the charity and from Rosa in our article.
These are just two examples of the many we’ve helped – and perhaps we can add your group or organisation onto the list for this year? Complete your application form (available here or at the bottom of this page) and let us know the amount of money you would need to complete your specific project or activity. The deadline for applications is 28 February.
