Oxfordshire County Council will be closing our local household waste recycling centre (HWRC), Dix Pit, over two days in September for essential work to take place.
This is part of a series of rolling closures at HWRCs across the county in September and October to facilitate critical maintenance and thorough jet-washing at the sites. No two sites will be closed on the same day, with weekdays chosen as they tend to be quieter.
Dix Pit in Stanton Harcourt will be closed on 23 and 24 September, re-opening at 8am on Wednesday 25 September. Residents are being asked to hold onto their waste until the sites re-open, or visit an alternative site.
