Eynsham Parish Council has been informed by First and Last Mile CIC that they are running a free bus service for people travelling to Eynsham Carnival on Saturday 6 July.
First and Last Mile, a superb community bus service, will be running free bus services on Carnival Day. This service will transport passengers from Stanton Harcourt and Sutton to Eynsham for the event, and back afterwards (timetable available at the bottom of the page).
Additionally, First and Last Mile is providing a free collection service for anyone living in Eynsham who has mobility issues but would like to attend the Carnival. Pick-ups will be made, by arrangement, after 1.30pm and can be from anywhere in the village, providing it is accessible for the bus. The vehicle is capable of transporting wheelchairs and passengers will be returned home after the event.

While these free services are available to all on Carnival day, they have been partly funded by a grant designed to help refugees access local summer events. In view of this, First and Last Mile are keen for the community to inform any Ukrainians and/or refugees living locally about these free services to enable them to join in our Eynsham Carnival fun.
