Eynsham Parish Council has received an update on the progress of repair work in Conduit Lane.
During the reprieve from the colder weather, the new wall has been built up to what is estimated to be around 40% completion. Approximately a third of the wall is at shoulder height, a third at waist height and a third at knee height, with just a small section still in the footings.
Some of the stones were damaged by the previous frosts and had to be re-placed. The replacement stones are now on site and ready to use.
We will continue to update residents as and when we have more progress to share, conscious of the inconvenience of this on-going closure.
