BrizeFest disruption warning 31 Aug 2022 A local festival could cause increases in traffic and noise

We’ve been advised by the organisers of BrizeFest, at RAF Brize Norton, of some potential disruption for local people during Friday 2 and Saturday 3 September.

Over these two days, RAF Brize Norton is hosting their annual Families Day. It’s anticipated that the event will result in an increase in traffic on the road around the airfield. There will also be various activities happening in the skies, including a Fly Past by a BBMF Lancaster and a free fall display by the RAF Falcons.

Also, on the Saturday evening there are plans for a fireworks display, starting at 10.45pm and ending at 11pm approximately. This may be seen and heard by anyone living nearby.

The organisers apologise for any disturbance or inconvenience that this event may cause. For more details on BrizeFest and Families Day, visit RAF Brize Norton’s official website.
