Following a request made by our Parish Council, Oxfordshire County Council has agreed to extend the deadline for responses on the A40 consultation.
The consultation period had been due to close on 12 February, but responses will now be accepted until 19 February, a week later than initially planned.
The A40 HIF2 Smart Corridor application details the plan, which includes adding in bus lanes along the dual carriageway to facilitate the new Eynsham Park and Ride, as well as creating new roundabouts, cycle paths and underpasses on various sections of the A40.
The Parish Council has prepared a response to the plans and highlighted a number of concerns. This can be reviewed in our consultation document.
We know that many in the community feel strongly about the A40 development and the potential damage to the environment. We would encourage all residents to respond to the application and share their concerns with the County Council. This can be done on the consultation website.
